Software that saves lives.

Who We Are

The first of its kind in Qatar,

LifeLines is a Student-led Humanitarian Innovation Platform founded by passionate students, staff, and faculty who refused to be passive spectators.

Instead, they became active agents, channeling their anger, grief and helplessness into meaningful action. As the pressure from recent tragedies—earthquakes, floods, wars—mounted, the genocide in Gaza ultimately ignited this movement.

Our Vision

At Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, we felt a responsibility to use our skills for a greater purpose. Driven to create life-saving software—where each line of code is a lifeline—we founded LifeLines, a platform that merges innovation with humanitarian action.

Bringing together

students, educators, and professionals,
we develop solutions to mitigate the impacts of global humanitarian crises, combining technology and compassion to offer support and hope to those in need.
